“never stay in this hotel again”
I was assigned corner room 201 with plenty of windows, but the AC was busted; the technician insisted it was fine, set the thermostat to 16 °C yet it felt like 28 °C, and he told me to close the curtains to block sunlight—absurd. The hotel refused to let me change rooms and kept claiming the AC was working. Later that day they sent me nasi goreng as a “compliment” (what the heck?). A pile of garbage bags (nasi bungkus) was dumped right in front of the elevator, and the smell stayed terrible from check‑in to check‑out because no one cleaned it; it was even left near the janitor’s stroller on the second floor. The next morning the breakfast room was hot, the officer again said the AC was set to the coolest setting, and the food was cold and tasteless.
