The menu offered a nice range of dishes, and the lunch I ordered turned out to be fantastic. The breakfast, however, could have been better.

“Mala experiencia”

I never actually stayed at the hotel; it was a mess. I sent a message saying I'd arrive the next morning, but got no reply, so I sent another and still no response. They tried to charge me even though I hadn't been there yet, and when my card didn't go through they cancelled my reservation. I mentioned that I had paid for the night before and the following night, but they said it was already cancelled and the only option was to wait until 3 pm for a room to free up, after a 13‑hour trip, which I was least willing to do. There were no other choices and the receptionist acted like I didn't understand what I was saying.

“Absolutely disappointing!”

We were robbed by a sticky‑handed cleaner during what was supposedly a “verification check” that oddly took place before checkout. This was strange because some fixtures were falling apart in the shower stall and there was dirty laundry from a previous guest left in the room when we arrived. If random checks were really a thing, the room should have been spotless when we got there. It seemed staged by the staff, as only two rooms—those of the two people who did the check‑in for the group—were targeted. When we reported it, the staff were very nonchalant and even laughed as we left.

The reception staff were very helpful and the restaurant team were extremely friendly, but I found a hair in the bed.
