The proximity to the sassis was great, and the owner’s welcome and explanations were helpful. The second owner accused us of smoking inside the room and bathroom, even though we only smoked on the balcony where the first owner had told us it was allowed; he apologized when we clarified we smoked outside, but his tone was still a bit harsh. The mattress was a bit sagging on one side—maybe it needs replacing. The bathroom was clean and functional.

The location was perfect, the room spotless, and the bed super comfy. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. Communicating with Luca, the owner, before arrival was a breeze, and he was very kind when we checked in, explaining everything and even recommending places to visit. He answered all our requests. We really appreciated it—thanks a lot for hosting us. Highly recommended. See you next time! Everything was perfect.

We were warmly welcomed, and the apartment is very well situated near the old town, with parking only 300 m away. The room has a private bathroom.

When I arrived, the staff immediately explained the main attractions of Matera, handed me a map, and kept me well informed everywhere. I was welcomed warmly with a drink. The property is within walking distance of the Sassi. However, there is no parking available at the accommodation; I had to park further down the street where I couldn’t see my car. Parking is paid, which is annoying with all the heavy luggage and bags.
