We spent the night as a couple in December 2025, taking the top‑floor room that has a pool on the balcony, and everything was wonderful – the location, the balcony view, the warm welcome at check‑in, the delicious food (we booked the plan with breakfast and dinner and often got dinner delivered to the room), the spotless room and the hot water. I should point out that the room has no fridge, which was mentioned on the website, and the owner gave us handy tips on how to get around faster. Because the suite is on the very top floor (there are only three floors), the shower lacks a ceiling. The Wi‑Fi was advertised but didn’t work anywhere, so we relied on mobile data. One night a bottle of local Calypso rum vanished from the room – the beer, gin and other valuables left next to it were untouched, so we were lucky to have extra drinks, especially since the wine shop was closed the next day. Apart from that, the hotel was lovely and we recommend it.

This tiny four‑room property felt like a stay in a small rock cottage. The room offered a stunning view of sunrise and sunset. Huge thanks to the manager and the staff, especially AVI, who even did our baby photo shoot at that amazing spot. The food was homey and delicious, and the hospitality was indescribable. We couldn’t stay long, but it was very satisfying. The only real drawback is the road to the resort: it’s on a hill, so you need an experienced driver. The resort is about 4–5 km from Kandy city, so if you want a silent retreat it’s fine, but staying in Kandy is a great experience because the city looks beautiful at night.
