The owner was super friendly and helped with everything, and the breakfast, while simple, was tasty enough to start the day. The spot is perfect: quiet yet close to the airport, downtown and the beach. The only downside was the lack of Brazilian‑standard power sockets – the single outlet was already taken by the fan, leaving no plug near the bed for my phone.

Grandma who runs the place is amazing – cheerful, makes you feel at home, and the house is always spotless and well organized, with bakeries, restaurants, beaches and banks just around the corner. The Wi‑Fi, however, was pretty weak and made it hard to attend my online classes.

Marlene welcomed me warmly and the garden is really nice; the street is quiet but you can walk to a lot of spots nearby. My room was silent, comfortable, clean, and the kitchen was fully usable.

The location couldn't be better and Marlene’s family is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The only thing missing was a proper suite, but the warmth and attention from Marlene, her two kids, and her daughter‑in‑law made up for it.
