Everything was done tastefully, giving a real break from reality; we loved everything and will return. Nothing. Loved everything. The only note is that there is an induction pan in the cupboard, which we would have preferred to know about beforehand so it gave us more options for food.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, and the entire experience was flawless. The Duncan room was immaculate, and a small welcome pack of local farm produce, along with tea, coffee, a toaster, microwave, hairdryer, and plenty of towels, toilet paper, and toiletries, made us feel at home. It was so spotless that we almost believed we were the first guests. The hot tub was incredible, and adjusting the temperature was a breeze. The unexpected peace and quiet were a pleasant surprise, and the view was breathtaking, even during a brief rain shower—binoculars are a must! The bed felt like a giant marshmallow, and the early‑morning view from the one‑way glass cube was amazing. There were no complaints, except that the 10 am checkout was earlier than my husband and I would have liked. We usually pay for a late checkout, but a quick text to Angela and she said it was no bother to stay longer. Angela and Hugh went above and beyond, and this was the perfect couples getaway.
