“Other than a clean bed to sleep, did not like my stay.”

I appreciated that the bed was clean, but that was the only good thing. The whole experience was terrible. I called before booking to confirm the room type I wanted, and the woman who answered was short and extremely rude, just saying whatever I said to get me off the phone. Because of her, I didn’t book the correct room, so I was very disappointed when I arrived after working all morning and driving for 5+ hours to get to the hotel, only to be told that the room I wanted was already rented out. When I asked if anything could be done about the mix‑up, I was simply told, “sorry, since you booked through a third party we can’t do anything other than give you a coupon to stay at this location only.” I live 5+ hours away, and the next time I’ll be close to that area is years from now.

Breakfast was exceptional and the staff were pleasant. I booked this hotel for the swimming pool, but nowhere on the website or page was it mentioned that the pool was closed due to an incident that had occurred before my stay. We enjoyed the rest of the stay, but we would not have booked the hotel if we had known the pool was closed.

“Cockroach”

The breakfast was fine. The hotel looked old and it seemed like a renovation had been attempted but poorly executed, with many details missed throughout the room. A large cockroach was in the middle of the hallway in the main lobby; I have a picture of it.

We rented the place because we wanted the swim. We live in a house with no pool and not in an apartment complex, so we were hoping for a clean pool. They told us the pool was open, and it was open, but it was not clean—the water was a dirty gray, like soapy water. We didn’t get to swim because the pool water was cold. The room was hot, but the pool water was way too cold and dirty. I left my swimsuit there and called to let them know, and it took almost a week to get it back. A few days later, they actually found my swimsuit because someone had not properly looked for it. One lady at the reception desk did not do her job correctly, but the manager did a very good job finding my swimsuit and getting it back to me.

“Professional style good food. I just wish we could have used the pool and Jacuzzi.”

The breakfast was delicious, especially the biscuit and gravy. My family wanted to use the swimming pool, but we couldn’t because it wasn’t clean. There were too many buoys floating around in the pool, and the Jacuzzi wasn’t working.
