The staff were helpful and friendly. The sheets had stains that didn’t look very clean and there were ants in the bed on the first day… Cleaning was not done during the stay. The Riad is a bit north of the Medina, so it’s less convenient if you want to go to the Ourika Valley or the Agafay Desert. The owner was haughty, absolutely not conciliatory or accommodating when I just wanted to shift my stay by a few weeks because my friend was ill and couldn’t travel. The deadline for modification had passed by 6 hours, indeed… but showing humanity was apparently not in his principles… He only offered us to cancel our reservation and lose the entire amount, and if we ever booked elsewhere he would reimburse us…! It’s a shame that some Riad owners prioritize money over humanity! I have been to Morocco regularly for 20 years and have never had any problems with any Riad owners, even during Covid, and I have visited many! I absolutely will not recommend this Riad unfortunately!
