The hotel was nice, clean, and well‑kept, but the room felt a bit small and we noticed a faint sewer smell coming from the bathroom.

The location was fine, yet we were given a shabby ground‑floor room next to the kitchen/breakfast area for no clear reason; at 6 am a noisy conversation and table‑setting woke us, followed by children screaming around 7 am right in front of the breakfast tables, the sheet was stained, the door couldn’t be locked from the inside (we had to block it with chairs), and the breakfast was pitifully small – this is at best a two‑star place, not four, so I can’t recommend it.

The hotel is excellent in Pécs’s historic centre. I stayed in a suite that was spacious and very comfortable, the staff were friendly, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The only downside was that breakfast could have been a bit more diverse.
