The breakfast was what to expect, continental adequate. The hotel was small and the rooms a bit dated. The front of staff were excellent and very helpful and very jolly. The hotel was perfectly situated to get around the many sites nearby and many of the side streets were full of lovely cafes and restaurants. Maybe give the rooms a makeover, just a lick of paint keep the quaint features

We booked two rooms and the hotel arranged us together, and they also upgraded us one room to a bigger room. We really appreciated it. The breakfast is very healthy and varied. It is a big help to have a lift, although it is small. The bed is very comfortable. The location is excellent, just next to the train station. We can walk to major attractions and join two one-day trips to reach the meeting point easily. The upgraded (bigger) room's flush bottom caused the water leaking sound to be nonstop. The staff couldn't fix it straight away, so they moved us to another room; we appreciated it

The location is superb. It is just 4 minutes from the central station. The room is very clean. I really enjoy my stay there
