The location was convenient with bus links to the city centre, and the shop below had helpful staff. The shower temperature swung between hot and cold. The well‑equipped kitchen would benefit from a coffee café and a tea strainer.

“Misleading description”

The place was clean, but the parking information was misleading – on‑site parking was advertised while street parking was actually available. The shared bathroom detail was buried in fine print, so I didn’t expect to share with other guests; that was partly my fault, but it wasn’t obvious. The mattresses were uncomfortable and a refrigerator or other machinery kept gonging on and off all night.

“A perfect spot for a short stay”

Everything was functional and very clean, and accessing the communal kitchen and bathroom was hassle‑free. The only downside was the lack of curtains – just a thin blind – so the room was blindingly bright in the morning.

“Great Value Very Clean property ideally located for buses”

As previous reviewers noted, the value is great, it’s exceptionally clean, the bedroom is nice, the shower is huge, the design is modern with clean lines, and the kitchen lets you cook your own meals. There’s a washing machine, fridge‑freezer, ironing board and iron. The photos look grey and unwelcoming, but in reality everything you need is there, so I was pleasantly surprised by the bedroom size, the cleanliness, the lovely clean bathroom with a great shower, the tidy kitchen, and the peaceful setting next to Aldi and a 5‑minute walk from a 24‑hour Asda. The main bus route goes into town and out to the airport. Excellent. I liked everything, but if you need a firm mattress, you might want to avoid it – it was fine for me.
