Inti Pacha Palace Machupicchu

“Alles gut”

We stayed two nights and everything was great. Central location and very friendly staff. Unfortunately, there was no window in the room and it was a bit noisy, but earplugs solved that.

“Bom apenas pelo custo x benefício.”

I only liked the cost‑benefit ratio because staying in Águas Calientes is really pricey, and I appreciated how the staff understood the check‑in timing, given the usual train delays or small hiccups; they left the key for me at midnight, which felt very empathetic. The hotel sits above a french‑fry restaurant and faces a pizzeria, so opening the window was impossible because of frying smells and dripping grease. The room was extremely damp—my phone even flagged “liquid detected.” Breakfast was very early, ending at 08:00, and it was very simple.

This was the best hotel on the trip; the shower was amazing with hot water, the bed was super comfy, and the internet worked well. The location was great too—close to the train station and easy to reach the city center, with many restaurants nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they left a ready breakfast kit for us since we left before the usual breakfast time. Highly recommend!
