The room was very nice and spacious with a sofa area, and the little kitchen on a small farm outside Rotoruar had all the breakfast ingredients ready and could be replenished on request; everything was lovingly homemade. The bathroom is off‑site, but the whole area is separated for guests. The bathroom itself needs a facelift—new toilet and a clean sink would make a big difference.

The location was great, the room was huge, and the self‑serve breakfast was lovely. The bathroom is outside the room and inconveniently located between the owners’ part of the house; the shower curtain is too light and blows in, sticking to your skin—perhaps a weighted curtain or a glass enclosure would help.

The room was beautiful, the location stunning, and the hosts were very friendly; I definitely recommend staying here, and we even got to meet the alpacas. 😃
