The bed was comfortable, but the room appeared unclean, no phone worked, the back of the controller was missing, and overall it didn’t match my expectations.

I liked that it was 10 minutes from Scarowinds, but the room wasn’t what I expected; there were water spots and holes in the ceiling, and the phone in the room didn’t work.

The room was clean and spacious, with a nice mini‑fridge, microwave, desk, and seating options; the sheets were clean, the bed comfortable, and breakfast offered some choices—eggs, potatoes, yogurt, apples, and waffles—but there were several beetles crawling around, getting into any unattended food or drinks, which was unsettling; I didn’t capture any photos of them.
