The location was excellent and the free electric car charging was a plus. The shower was awful, with no hot water and a door that didn’t close properly. The room felt like a low‑end option for the price, and the restaurant was way too pricey for what it served.

The grounds were gorgeous, the gardens spectacular, and the vibe was very welcoming. The hot tub, sauna, and pool could use some upgrades, and a cold plunge would have been nice. Our room looked lovely but also needed updating; both bedside lamps on the first floor weren’t working properly and had to be unplugged to turn off, and the pillows were clearly worn out.
