Nice spot with great sightseeing, but there are no restaurants nearby—just one small bar that only takes cash and offers limited food variety. It’s far from everything else. They require a deposit, and if you don’t pay in cash, they’ll take a week to return it to your bank account. They also don’t accept AMERICAN EXPRESS, which I use for company payments.

The location is undoubtedly privileged, but it’s a shame that maintenance has been neglected for years; we had a good time because the golf course is immaculate, but the hotel itself isn’t. The rooms are very old, we requested a suite and the kitchen drawers and doors barely hold together. The exterior is severely deteriorated. The bed is very comfortable and clean, and it has great potential—if they updated it, I’d definitely return. The obvious lack of upkeep is a problem. The bellhop who attended us was very intrusive; I imagine with few guests he tries to earn as much as possible, but the gap between friendliness and harassment is huge. He should be trained to understand that if you say NO ten times, it’s NO, and personal questions should be avoided; that detail was very uncomfortable.
