The hotel sits right next to the gorgeous Kawaguchi‑ko, and we were impressed by its interior design and layout; it’s a shame we only stayed one night.

For the price it was spot on, and the lake‑front location was great for running and walking; only a downside is that everything else is a bit far if you don’t like walking.

The location, cleanliness, and value were above average—recommended if you don’t need a ryokan. The only issue was that the hot water didn’t come on in the morning.
