The view, location and climate were perfect, but nothing was missing – everything was absolutely flawless!

It was simply an incredible cabin right on the river that flows into the lake. We fished, cooked, gathered bilberries and raspberries, and it felt like a dream in the heart of Norwegian nature. The house has a washing machine, dryer, and you can rent a boat or catamaran. The beds were very comfortable, though a bit short for our family (my guys are 2 m tall). The cabin includes a shower and toilet, which was a nice touch. A barbecue on the shore let us grill fish and sausages to great effect, and the kids found two white mushrooms right in the clearing. It rained the first day, but after that it was simply wonderful!

The Hyttegrenda pool is located by the Trysilelva river, and it’s a nice spot :)

It’s relaxing and soothing to hear the forest beside the cabin, and the grill spots and service are good. The scenery is beautiful!
