“very good overall but need some of the plumbing renewed.”

The facilities were excellent and the food from all the restaurants was great, but the toilet doesn’t flush very well and keeps the smell a little in the villa; some staff members were a bit rude at the front desk, like when I was checking out and asking about the deposit plus the room charge that I paid upon checking in; I was trying to clear up my understanding of the remaining amount but the lady at the front desk was quite impatient with me and not very helpful; I had to google some stuff after leaving just to make sure I was not charged twice; all other staff members were great.

The hotel is excellent and very high quality, with a fun pool and a beach right next to it, although the beach is very rocky. The hotel is huge and requires traveling from one spot to another, which is less convenient. Our daughter fell ill during the stay and received amazing, personal care from the entire staff, even from the hotel manager – truly exceptional. The mini golf was great and fun. The dining room is excellent but not air‑conditioned. The rooms are large and very luxurious.

“Would give a 10 unless the useless beach.”

The staff were helpful and courteous, and the rooms felt modern and luxurious. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety. They advertise a private beach, which is true – it’s secluded and great for photos, but it’s mostly rocky and shallow, so not useful for swimming. We had to call a boat each day to reach Choeng Mon beach, which is better for swimming. The property sits on a hillside, making it hard to get around; you’ll need to call a buggy almost everywhere.
