“We may have gotten unlucky”

The garden area was nice and the staff were welcoming, but my son fell ill at the pool restaurant—suspected to be from the parmesan cheese—and my wife developed a bad respiratory illness right after our stay.

“A rather bland hotel with wonderful views and a pretty garden.”

The views from most rooms are incredible, and the hotel has a small lovely garden/vegetable plot that’s cute. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and inexpensive. However, any requests to the staff that fall outside the ordinary business—like having a massage bed put in my room or using my own massage therapist from Canggu—took forever to be handled. In my case, the staff said a firm “NO” when I asked to rent a massage room in the spa, and after several hours of deliberation, they finally said “YES” for a massage bed at a surprisingly high price. Everything was sorted by the end of the day, but it was frustratingly slow and the staff showed no initiative to solve my request; I had to find the solution myself. The gym can accommodate only two people at most.

The hotel is located in a naturally beautiful spot, is clean and comfortable, and all the staff were kind enough to make me feel very comfortable. I’m looking forward to staying again.

“Geweldig!”

The place was super clean, the staff were very friendly, and the on‑site Asian restaurant was delicious! The location is a bit less ideal because it’s on a busy road, so you can’t just stroll through a town, but once you’re inside the resort you don’t feel the traffic at all.

The front side has a view. The back side faces a dirty road littered with plastic where you can’t even walk a meter… what a mess!
