Everything was spotless, the bed was super comfy, the pillows were amazing, and overall it was fantastic.

The venue’s location was ideal for our event, and the staff welcomed us warmly, but the pillows were definitely in need of an upgrade—they were too flat and uncomfortable.

“Bed and noise outside the hotel made it difficult to sleep”

The spot works well if you plan to visit Troy, but it was too noisy for my taste.

“A black eye for Marriott . Would never come back.”

I can’t point to any positives here; this Marriott property was a huge letdown—its location under an overpass and right on the street made the area feel old, run‑down, and unsafe. Our first room had feces on the toilet lid, and after we called the front desk we were moved from a river view to the noisy front side. No complimentary water was provided at check‑in as promised, the shower dispenser had no soap for all three days, and maid service only came every other day, which we discovered only after asking why the room hadn’t been serviced. We had to go to the desk for extra coffee, cups, and towels, and the restaurant had only one staff member at breakfast, so we ended up eating elsewhere.
