They are scammers. They told me they couldn’t host me because they were doing work and refused to cancel the reservation. Customer service was terrible. I’ll sue them, already talked to a lawyer last Friday, and have everything to take legal action. I’ll also file a fraud complaint and attach the chat conversation to show everyone they’re scammers.

The price. Unfortunately, the room was very disappointing. When we arrived, the bed was not even properly made — the bedding was all crumpled up, as if someone had just gotten out of it. The bed itself was also very uncomfortable, and so were the pillows. The bathroom floor was dirty, and there was men’s underwear left all over the bathroom, including hanging on the drying rack. We also found dead flies inside the drawers. Overall, the room did not feel clean or properly prepared for guests

To begin with, just arriving in the neighborhood would scare me if I were alone at night; if you go to the bathroom, even on the fourth floor without an elevator, you’ll hear very strong Arabic speaking. The house was disgusting. That house hasn’t seen cleaning in years. In the kitchen there were not even spoons, there was a dirty fork left in the sink after someone had dumped cheese or something sticky, and the sponge we had to use was black. There wasn’t even a simple table to eat on. We had to eat in the bunk below, careful not to hit our heads, with a piece of furniture in front that’s for leaving keys and such. The towel had little hair balls from a lady. The fridge was so dirty it had lumps and roughness when you touched it, and I didn’t know if the cabinet was dirtier than the fridge… the photos they post are from some real estate agency at the moment they rented it or are made with AI. The shower curtain had dirt for years. The kitchen had ants. Plus opening the cabinets revealed beer cans with tobacco and glass everywhere. The room smelled like Maria and had tobacco dust on the window. Terrible. And there were pizza boxes with expired food in the kitchen.

The location. The abandoned shopping carts out the front should have told us what we were in for. It is a tiny apartment up four flights of mildewed stairs that is divided to sleep 8 people. There's one toilet/bathroom between everyone which is not even close to enough. We had bunk beds (?????) rather than a twin and slept on cheap, 3cm thick foam mattresses through which you could feel the slats of the bed, including the missing slat on the top bunk. Both pillow and doona make your skin crawl. The room is comically tiny with barely enough room to fit a bag on the floor. The kitchen was dirty, the sink covered in mysterious white scum. I don't know why they're even allowed to list this place.

The place was clean and the price was high, but the mattresses were thin and flat.
