Very good breakfast. The room is simple but spacious. The pool is quite pleasant, and the value for money is good. A narrow alley leads to the city center, where you can visit the beautiful cathedral of Massa Maritima and the downtown area. The reception is poorly marked.

Nice view of the hills and a comfortable parking lot. The staff are extremely kind. There are a lot of stairs, the courtyard areas are untidy, and a little renovation could make it much more attractive.

The silence of the area and the view over the hills are definitely a plus. After 23:00 (reception closing time) the parking was almost dark—only one streetlamp at the entrance stayed on. I honestly didn’t feel safe having to return via a side stair where the door to the rooms wasn’t locked and anyone could enter.

I liked the staff, the space, the pool, the quietness, and the location, but the cleaning could be better.
