The host was very nice, the dinner and food were abundant and the cooking was excellent; after my shoes fell apart, the hostess gave me a new pair so I could finish the whole trip. The village conditions are average, so don’t expect too much from the accommodation.

The room was very clean and comfortable, a rare luxury in the village, and the breakfast and dinner were excellent; the owner’s wine was superb, only 5 GEL a glass, definitely worth trying. A gas grill at the door can be used for heating, and the host’s horse lets you ride across the river the next day.
