The hosts were kind and helpful, we had access to a sunny kitchen, a beautiful veranda overlooking the mountains, comfortable beds, and fresh plums from the garden. The host treated us to a delicious homemade langos with cumynamon and ricotta, and kept offering more tasty treats. We spoke Spanish and had great communication. The only downside was the lack of shelves and hooks in the bathroom, but overall it was very comfortable. We were disappointed to see a dog on a chain that still looked very happy.

We spent three days there as two families, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. After reading reviews from guests who wished they had stayed longer, we finally understood why. One of the most memorable moments was a French mother and her teenage son, who had learned a traditional Maramureș folk song while singing in a choir in France, performing it in Romanian together with the owner—it was beautiful and deeply moving. Breakfast and dinner (with sarmale) were delicious and generous, made with high‑quality ingredients, and complimentary coffee and tea were available all day. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing and exploring the area. Highly recommended!
