The location is great, right between the train station and the lakeside promenade, and there are several good restaurants nearby. The staff were very friendly and in a good mood.

Located in the heart of Geneva, the Eastwest Hôtel by Malone offers a discreet luxury haven, steps from Lake Geneva and close to shopping and business areas. This boutique hotel seamlessly blends contemporary décor, eastern and western traditions, and modern technology in a sophisticated atmosphere. Elegant rooms feature individually controlled climate control, flat-screen TVs, and Nespresso machines, while the restaurant serves inventive cuisine and the lobby bar offers original cocktails.

The room was comfortable and spacious, and the lake‑side location was excellent. The only downside was that coffee had to be restocked each day.

The staff, the location, and the price were all good.

The top‑floor room was beautiful, with two separate areas, a comfy bed, and a very large, lovely bathroom. Its exceptional position just steps from the city center and all the shops makes it perfect for a relaxing weekend.

The shower was excellent and the room had practical, comfortable details like outlets on both sides of the bed and high‑quality amenities. The receptionist who handled our check‑in was very friendly and even offered us a room upgrade, but we missed the chance to manage the included Geneva Transport Card. On arrival, a strong urine smell filled the room; we first thought it came from the street with the window open, but it persisted even after we closed everything when we returned from dinner. The overall cleaning felt neglected (we didn’t complain because our stay was only 12 hours and we slept 7). The breakfast price of 29 CHF per person seemed outrageous, so we opted out. At check‑out, the receptionist’s attitude was rather dry and abrupt: when we paid by card, she didn’t ask which currency to charge and chose dynamic currency conversion on the terminal without asking. Finally, although it’s unrelated to hotel management, travelers should know that the Paquis neighborhood is only suitable for nightlife; at night the street is noisy, over‑exposed, and doesn’t feel very calm for walking.
