The holiday was almost perfect: the staff were friendly and accommodating, the food was superb, and the surroundings were simply fantastic. It would have been nice if at least one window had an insect screen; we already got bitten by several mosquitoes.

The staff were unbelievably friendly, greeting me right at the front desk and even helping with my bags. They also gave me a few solid tips about the nearby sights, which made the short stay feel a lot more welcoming.

The place was spotless, the meals were delicious and the lake was only a ten‑minute walk away, which suited us perfectly since we like a small, quiet setting.
