Apart from the area, there was very little to like about the hotel. The room was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. The bathroom stank, and the toilet seat had stains. The bathroom doormat was dusty and looked used. The bed and pillows also looked very poorly maintained, with lots of dust and sand‑like particles on the bed. They hadn't even provided drinking glasses or towels for two people. The kitchen was closed on both days.

The AC wasn’t working at all. After I complained, they promised it would be fixed soon, but that never happened.

À notre arrivée tardive, l’entrée de l’hôtel nous a été refusée malgré notre réservation sous prétexte que cet hôtel est interdit aux étrangers. Nous avons été contraints à 23h30 de trouver un autre hôtel. Il semble qu’après discussion houleuse, du surbooking est été pratiqué et que nos chambres n’étaient en fait pas disponibles. C’est inadmissible

The front desk guy seemed off—like a local thug—staring oddly at guests while his friends lounged in the lobby, giving off a shady vibe. After checking in, he didn’t hand me the keys, claiming a previous guest had taken them, and the door would only open when I needed to step out for dinner or work. He offered no alternative room and behaved unprofessionally, with a strong, unpleasant odor everywhere.
