The lodges were gorgeous, the grounds impressive, the staff super friendly, the game drives exciting, and the food excellent. The breakfast was a bit weaker compared to the very strong lunch and dinner, but still good.

Klaserie Drift Misava, nestled within the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, offers traditionally decorated accommodations surrounded by African bush. Six air-conditioned rooms with bush themes and private entrances feature en-suite bathrooms. The staff and food were amazing, and the location was incredible! The shower needs some repair.

The property is in the Klaserie reserve , part of the Kruger national park , the nature is beautiful. The food is simple and good. Our first room was very basic with absolutely no view at all , it lacked privacy and was noisy and the decor was dated. Our second room was marginally better- it had a view and a bath. There were screaming kids at the pool when we wanted to relax , then kids drumming with the staff for an hour at the reception, right next door to our room where we retreated to get away from the pool. There is really no where else to go relax at the lodge . At over R20,000 per night the offering , was in so many ways, so far short of what it should have been at the price point. Based on our other experiences with top end lodges We were disappointed and feel that we were ripped off. Game viewing, whilst obviously not guaranteed, was sparse. Our direct feedback to management was eventually answered ,after my 3rd prompt, more than 2 weeks later, with a tone deaf offer for us to return at a 20% discount. Not going to happen any time soon!

The villa is beautiful, the views are amazing, the food is excellent, and the guides and other staff are fantastic.

We were warmly welcomed and, to our surprise, moved into an extraordinary living space. The property is very well designed. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We immediately extended our stay for another night because we liked it so much. The game drives were very interesting and they showed and explained as much as possible.
