The hotel was super beautiful, with very friendly staff and a lovely pool; the room and bathroom were gorgeous, and we could even peek at the beach from a little path. The waves were too high for swimming, but it was still a beautiful spot. It felt a bit remote, which added extra travel time, and having shampoo and shower gel would have been nice.

This well‑maintained, unique hotel has many personal touches and an owner with great taste; we enjoyed swimming in the stunning pool and listening to the wind through the coconut trees. Wildlife is limited because it sits between dunes (5 minute walk to the sea) and large coconut plantations, but the day trip to the mangroves—where we saw and climbed a magical Baobab Tree and many birds—was lovely. A trip into Wilpattu National Park could have been added. The staff were kind, helpful, and super friendly, ensuring a comfortable stay. The food, especially fresh tuna and fish curries, was excellent, and we loved the fresh coconuts by the pool. Nothing to complain about.

The staff were absolutely exceptional—warm and kind. The food was out of this world, the best I've had in Sri Lanka, and very reasonable. Our room was spacious and adequate for our needs; I think the rooms in the main house are probably more luxurious.
