The Waikanae Beach Motel is situated in Gisborne's city centre, directly across from Waikanae Beach and the Boardwalk. Local cafes, restaurants, and the iSite Information Centre are within walking distance. The motel offers free WiFi, studios to 2-bedroom apartments, ironing equipment, work desks, and flat-screen TVs. BBQ facilities and ensuite bathrooms with showers and hairdryers are also provided, close to Poverty Bay and Tatapouri Fishing Clubs.

The place sits in a great spot, spotless, and the kitchen is well equipped; the host is friendly, the bed is comfy, the water pressure is strong, and the décor is nice. The bedroom, however, is cramped and makes it hard to move around, and you can hear guests upstairs walking.

Our 3rd stay at Waikanae Beach Motel and it is consistently excellent. Lovely staff, very clean and comfortable rooms, superb location at a reasonable price
