Very good. Simple and hassle‑free. Great pool. Relaxing.
The location and the pool with a fantastic view of San Gimignano are excellent. San Gimignano is about a 20‑minute walk away. Unfortunately, breakfast is only available from 8.30.
The staff were fantastic and the service impeccable, with nothing to complain about.

Good breakfast, tidy garden, great pool, pleasant communal dinners. Good spot for hikes. The beds were quite hard. It was a bit inconvenient that staff had to serve everything at breakfast, including refilling coffee.

The pool was excellent, and the incredible view over all of San Gimignano was almost magical! Also, there were mosquito nets in all windows—really needed because of the many mosquitoes and bugs outside. There was some spiderweb in the ceiling and everything felt generally old. The worst was the bathroom, which smelled terribly at several times—drain odor/rotted egg. It also leaked from something under the sink. The pipes in the entire building creaked and groaned as soon as someone used the toilet or similar. The bed was hard, you could feel the springs, and the pillows were flat and quite firm.
