We appreciated the rich history and the delightful breakfast, and the welcome chocolates by the bedside were a nice touch. The outside looked a bit messy—renovations are underway, especially at the back, but the exterior still needs cleaning, lawn care, and the dirty walls. Our room was clean, yet there was black mold in the bathroom where the baseboards had been removed and redone. No local TV was available, only streaming on your phone. Extra pillows would have added comfort, though we didn’t request them. Inside, most areas were clean but some touch‑up paint would help.
