The location… the quiet of the area is superb. The only issue was a problem with the sink siphon covered by a board; a bad smell escapes and becomes annoying for a good rest—fabulous if they removed it.

Gratty, the guy running the place, was genuinely friendly and made us feel welcome. The room itself, however, was cramped, the mattresses were firm, and it could have been cleaner. We also missed basic hotel touches like a mini‑fridge, hair dryer, or a common lounge, which felt odd for a place called Nature Hotel.
This family‑run spot felt welcoming from the start, with Gatty answering all our questions and even sorting the mountain‑bike payment. The room was clean and spacious, and after we checked out they let us store our bags and use a shower at a nearby location. They also point out a decent‑priced breakfast at the other site, which we missed but would have liked. Everything else was spot‑on.
