“Abia am plecat, dar gândul mi-a rămas acolo!”

When I first stepped inside, it looked like a simple cottage in a forgotten village. The moment I crossed the threshold, time seemed to pause because I was greeted by the host, grandma. She gave me a tour of the house, told me the story of the place, and served me plăinte. That was when I realized how much I miss my grandparents. Her gentle voice encouraged me to visit again when I feel their absence. The village’s quiet, occasionally interrupted by distant villagers’ voices, reminded me of Creangă’s tales. I admit that this stay, away from city bustle, was more relaxing than the seven days I spent at the sea. A bonus for this accommodation is the Apuseni Mountains. The area offers stunning scenery; you can explore Cheile Runcului or go on an unforgettable kayaking adventure on the Arieș River. I wholeheartedly recommend this spot to anyone who wants to find peace and rediscover authentic Romanian life! Everything was clean and well‑maintained.

Everything was exceptional, the family who owns the place – they are great people, they welcomed us warmly and we had the best welcome tour with grandma, she was a cherry on top of our stay! The place is adorable, all the Romanian ornaments/ accents are just so beautiful. Even if for us the weather was not great, the village, surrounding area, the views were great. We had a really great stay there! There was nothing I did not like.

“Great people, great service, Will definitely return”

The location is amazing if you want to go off‑grid, far away from the concrete jungle. Great place to return to nature, to village life. It was a bit difficult to find, but the owner was always available to call and guide me to the right place.
