“Wonderful hospitality and a very interesting place to stay”
The building is fascinating, full of interesting details and antiques, and the hosts Edward and Helen were delightful and made us feel very welcome. We learned about the building’s history and the family that lived there, and the tour was very interesting. We were the only guests that night, so we spent about an hour chatting with our hosts in the bar. The hospitality was wonderful, and the couple were very down‑to‑earth and friendly. The room was large, with a comfortable bed and an amazing bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, featuring local produce in abundance.
