I was very pleased with the accommodation. Parking was a breeze – just a quick stay for the night. The shower/ensuite was a bit small, but the privacy it offered was a big plus.

The cooked breakfast was outstanding, and I could also pick from a wide range of cereals if I wanted. The filtered coffee they served was excellent. I didn’t ask for it, but the high‑quality marmalade they provided felt artisanal or homemade – it was just that good.

Early check‑in started at 12 o’clock, and the lady was lovely while the facilities were spotless. Unfortunately, our room was freezing even with the heating on.

Teresa is a lovely, friendly, entertaining lady and also a great cook. The decor, however, could use a refresh.

Teresa made the stay truly excellent. The location was ideal as we were attending a wedding at Athlone Springs. Breakfast was delicious, the beds were super comfortable, and Teresa even timed the heating so our room stayed warm but not too hot for sleep. I’d highly recommend this traditional Irish B&B!
