First, our host Emilio was incredibly helpful. A bag was stolen from the train on our way to the property, and Emilio escorted us to the police station, stayed with us until we filed the statement, helped us make calls, and translated for us. Thank you, Emilio, for all your help! The property itself was nicely appointed, comfortable, and in a fantastic location, so I would highly recommend it. The bed was a little hard.

The host was very friendly and the communication was excellent, and the location was perfect, with a nice room that was spotless. However, the street noise was loud until late night, and at 05:00 Uhr tourists with rollenkoffer were walking over the street pavement.

It was so close to restaurants, cafés, and the waterfront, and I appreciated that the building was very old yet still had a lift; the room and bathroom had been freshly and nicely renovated, though the room and ensuite were quite small.

It was the ideal base in Monterosso, a flat stroll of under 10 minutes from the train station and an elevator to the rooms. The hosts sent clear directions and handled check‑in smoothly, and everything in the old town was within easy reach. The place was clean, comfy, the shower worked well, and the air‑con was good. I’d recommend it 100%.
