Very helpful staff who were able to allow an early check in, good breakfast in both quantity and quality. Room was clean and comfortable but a bit of a timewarp from the 80's with things looking rather tired

The welcome by staff was good and was the highlight. Unfortunately I think this properties account has been hacked by fraudsters who very nearly made it off with additional funds. The property knows about this and yet hasn't done anything about it. I feel that the decor and accommodation really needs a total refresh it's very mid 90s and everything is looking old

Friendly staff, good location, lovely room with amazing en suite. Easy parking and good breakfast. The shower cubicle was amazing so it was such a shame that the water pressure in the shower was so low

A bed that really sleeps, a quiet corner of the town, breakfast that tasted good, staff who were friendly, and a short walk to Saffron Walden. Nothing else to add.
