It’s good.
We especially appreciated the proximity to Pidurangala Rock, just a 15‑minute walk; the bike rental was very convenient for getting around; the option to dine on site at a reasonable price; the host’s friendliness and welcome; the excellent value for money; the ability to book a safari directly from the property (even though the rate is a bit higher than in town); and the bus to Kandy that departs right from the street in front of the house. We were less pleased with the frogs in the bathroom, the heat in the un‑air‑conditioned room (though that was our mistake), and the monkey throwing fruit onto the metal roof at night, which was quite noisy.
“Friendly host”
The host was nice and offered me breakfast at noon after the Sigiriya rock hike. They rent bicycles, and breakfast was decent. The room was spacious. The house is not in Sigiriya village.

Breakfast was sooo good. The owner and his wife are both very friendly and kind, and they even gave me a bicycle to ride free of charge. The location is good if you want to go to Pidurangala.
