“Ficarei lá todas as vezes que voltar pro Atacama (porque voltarei! rs)”

I stayed alone in a room with a shared bathroom at Hostal Mamatierra, and everything was spotless with warm water for showers. The breakfast was tasty, and when early tours were planned, they offered a packed snack if we let them know beforehand. Whenever I needed help, the reception staff were friendly and attentive. Walking to Rua Caracoles, the main street of Atacama, takes about 5 minutes, and getting back to the hotel is easy. I had no complaints; the experience was completely positive.

The staff are wonderful—always attentive, helpful, and available. I checked out on 09/09 (to make a quick trip to Bolivia), but had a transfer scheduled for 12/09. Even after leaving the hostel, the team texted me that I could stay, use the bathroom and kitchen if I wanted. That was amazing! It’s super well located, just 5 minutes to Caracoles, and there’s a tiny market right next door. The room I stayed in was very spacious—simply wonderful.

Os principais pontos positivos pra mim são a equipe e atendimento do hostel que é incrível, sempre solicitos e tentando melhorar ao máximo a sua experiência no hostel (principalmente Vicente, que é super simpático e atencioso) e em San Pedro. Sobre limpeza não tenho nada a falar de ruim, os comodos sempre estão bastante limpos. Um outro ponto é que é comum ter passeios antes do horário de café da manhã, se voce avisar no dia anterior, eles podem fazer uma pequena marmita de café da manhã para voce, que faz muita diferença no seu dia a dia
