“Sehr guter Preis für ein gutes Hotel”

I booked Hotel Central but ended up staying two blocks away at the Fly In Hotel, which was a bit confusing at first. The room was clean, with a spacious shower and a well-equipped bathroom that had plenty of room. For the price, the furnishings were appropriate: cozy beds, a wardrobe, and three easily reachable power outlets. When we asked, the staff let us drop off our luggage at 11 am, which was very kind, and they even put a fan in the room—something I’ve never experienced before! From the hotel, the city center and shops are just a 3‑ to 5‑minute walk. The only downside was a bar nearby; around 3 am it gets noisy with loud patrons, but the windows are dampening enough.

“Nicht sauber, hellhörig und Nikotingeruch im gesamten Hotel”

The whole hotel was a smoking zone, so even the towels carried a cigarette scent. The room looked clean at first glance, but a closer inspection revealed the opposite: it smelled like vomit, and the toilet was clearly not cleaned properly, which was obvious. Only after I cleaned the bathroom myself did it become hygienic.

Das Hotel war sehr schmutzig. Ich fand eine halb leere Weinflasche, ein Messer und ein altes Diktiergerät. Ich war mit meinem 18-jährigen Sohn dort, und die Atmosphäre in der Lobby war schrecklich; es gab Spielautomaten und betrunkene Leute. Ich ging zur Rezeption, um zu erklären, was ich gefunden hatte, und um eine Rückerstattung zu bitten, aber sie lehnten unhöflich ab. Ich musste über Booklin ein anderes Hotel buchen.
