The location and equipment are good, but the breakfast was lacking.

“Unexpected great stay that was comfy, entertaining, and unique!!”

Remote(see picture of part of the 5 mile dirt road to get to the lodge), has everything you need, including a “tavern” on property, a special events room(we were surprised by getting to join a bingo night!), and very comfortable beds! We really did love it, and met some great folks!! We thoroughly enjoyed talking with others, especially other guests over breakfast, sharing details of where we were all headed! Convenient to Black Canyon, although plan on an hour or a little less to get there. The drive goes by quickly, though, and the stay here is worth it!. I could help a bit with the decor! 😉Very predictable lodge look, but could be more sophisticated, and that would kick it up a notch!

“Fantastic night being part of a mountain community”

We had an unforgettable night with a live band and the entire local community gathering together—amazing vibes and friendly faces. In the morning we enjoyed a walk around the area, spotting plenty of deer and enjoying beautiful views.

“Arrowhead mountain lodge”

This little hunting lodge is awesome, cozy, and features an on‑site tavern and dining. The themed rooms are lovely. The breakfast that comes with the stay isn’t the best, but it kept us going for a few hours.

“NIce, but not amazing.”

The location is convenient for our road trip, and the hotel is decent—clean, with food that’s okay. However, it’s 5 miles up a gravel track, which is fine if you have a 4x4 or truck but not ideal in a standard car. Breakfast instructions are unclear: you can either help yourself from fridges included in the room rate or pay extra for table service. The actual food was fine. The hotel was quite noisy that night, so there was little chance to see or hear wildlife or enjoy the tranquility.
