The room was lovely, complete with all the amenities you’d expect at this level. Its central location put us close to the sights we wanted to see, and since I’d stayed here before, I knew exactly how convenient it was. The front desk team was friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. Housekeeping paid close attention to detail. The extra spa treatments were a real treat. Breakfast was a wonderful surprise, exceeding expectations with a wide range of options to please any palate. On the downside, the room was marketed as having a view of the adjacent church, which it did, but it also faced the hotel rooftop with cooling equipment below. A room on a higher floor in the tower might have been better. Additionally, the Kaiser Wilhelm church next door had just closed indefinitely for repairs, which was a major disappointment since we’d planned to visit it. We were not warned about this beforehand. The worst part of our stay was dinner at ROCA, the nearby restaurant. It was overpriced, the food was mediocre, and the service was lackluster—far below the standards we’d experienced elsewhere at the Waldorf. We found better food at local restaurants nearby.

The location is top‑class. We keep coming back for years for a good reason. The rooms are excellent, and the view is superb.
