The spot is great, the staff are friendly and helpful, but the room feels tiny for the steep price.

“Loved the location, walked to everything.”

Hoi at the front desk was incredibly helpful and kind, especially to a group of elderly ladies, and the hotel’s location is superb—close to everything. I loved the unique vibe and rich history of the place; it was definitely an experience. I didn’t need a huge room, but the single room I had was VERY small, though I didn’t spend much time inside so it didn’t matter too much.

We never actually stayed. We booked a room for two adults with either a full bed or two twin beds, yet we were handed two separate rooms with twin beds and a steep staircase that made reaching the second room nearly impossible. When we asked for the original room we’d reserved, the staff refused, and they also refused a refund. The same issues are highlighted above.

“Fairly good hotel in a spot near the Golden Mile”

The location is excellent, but the hotel is small, the rooms are hidden in a maze of corridors and stairs, and the front desk staff—who seemed new and knew very little about the property—was fairly kind and helped carry luggage up to the third floor.
