The vistas were fantastic and the bed was cozy. I was a bit surprised to have to shower in front of 20 people sitting next to me in the sauna. Other than that, nothing to complain about.

The igloo itself was compact and atmospheric. It was nice that the sauna was right next to it and that you could jump into the river from there. We were looking for a place that offered both a sauna and a hot tub, but the hot tub wasn’t available. We also assumed that if a sauna and a hot tub were mentioned, there would be a proper shower. The corner of the public sauna had a shower that offered no privacy. The photos of the accommodation were somewhat misleading. The igloo was positioned so that its glass wall opened onto a bike path 10 m away instead of facing the river, which took away privacy from the stay. All the curtains had to be kept closed, which practically ruined the whole idea of a glass igloo stay.

A great experience, definitely recommend. Worth every penny. No need to fear traveling by bike on the river, it’s very easy and they explain everything wonderfully. The best place to stay throughout our trip. Everything was very good.

The staff were extraordinarily friendly. We were given thorough instructions on how to drive the igloo. At night we were on a buoy upstream, absolutely dreamy! Free sauna, whirlpool, and coffee at the station. There’s even an electric grill, and the staff do the dishes for us because the basin is a bit small.
