“Nice but overpriced”
The room was adequate and fairly large for two people, with basic amenities. The bed was nice but not super comfortable, though the linen was very clean and fresh. Towels and bathrobes were great. The view was street‑side, no sea view. Breakfast was decent but not outstanding; other hotels in SA and even in Hermanus offer better options. They claim to have two pools, but that’s a joke—the pools are tiny and can barely fit four adults, so laps aren’t possible. The hotel isn’t close enough to provide a nice ocean view, even from the breakfast area, and many rooms face the street or “garden” side (though there is no garden). The staff were very nice.
