No lift is a big problem! Big problem! It is impossible for elderly!

We dropped by Fuji hoping to catch a view of Mount Fuji from the south side. Even though it was just a one‑day trip, the location was close to great spots that felt hip, culturally rich, yet not as hectic as Tokyo or Osaka. Checking out was seamless and the staff were extremely helpful and courteous, even though we spoke only limited Japanese. We’ll definitely come back, and this time for a longer stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and check‑in was quick. The room was spotless and comfortable, so we slept very well. The rooftop view was fantastic and a great spot to see Mt Fuji, and the price matched the location nicely. Just remember there’s no lift, so you’ll have to carry bags up to the 2nd to 4th floor.

It was nice that there was no TV, but going out was difficult.
