The location is great, the beach is close by. The variety of restaurants nearby isn’t very wide.

Check‑in was quick, the beach is gorgeous, the pool is stunning. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Room service was not good, the area was too spread out, the corridor to the room was far, food was overpriced, few options, and it was inconvenient to move around even with the electric scooter. Cleaning was poor, the room smelled strong and unpleasant. The room service didn’t live up to the 4‑star claim.

“Disappointing”

Very few positives. This place isn’t what it advertises. We booked for a 5‑star stay, but reality was very different. Our reservation clearly listed 1 adult and 2 children with ages from the start. Yet on arrival I was told we had to pay a large extra fee for the kids. We were also asked to pay again for breakfast, even though it was included in the confirmation. The check‑in was extremely frustrating. The address sent us to the airport instead of the resort, and the buildings weren’t clearly marked, making it hard to find the right spot, especially after traveling with kids. After locating reception, check‑in took almost an hour. We first went to one desk where the receptionist said she needed to locate our booking and had us sit. After about 10 minutes we went back and were told we were at the wrong desk and had to move across reception. At the second desk we had to wait while they contacted the owner about our booking. After more waiting I was told I had to pay the extra fee for the children and sort it out later. Reception blamed the “owner” for the higher charges and expected me to pay first, then seek reimbursement later, which is unacceptable. Any dispute between the property owner and the guest isn’t the guest’s responsibility. Problems continued after check‑in. Both mornings we were told breakfast wasn’t included and had to go back and forth to be allowed in.

Almost nothing good. There were cockroaches everywhere.

The seaside tower concierge was fantastic, helping us store our bags a day early for a visa run to Bangkok. It was a bit noisy until 9 pm because a large private function was happening, but it was lively and we were just exhausted from flying.
