I arrived at a time when breakfast wasn’t offered, yet overall the place offered great value and the price was very cheap; the location is a short walk from the city, though there is a convenience store nearby.

The staff were enthusiastic, the price ideal and the air‑conditioner cool, yet the room appeared clean on the surface but the bed base was very dirty, so our small pet kept running in, which was annoying, and there were more dust details than expected.

We came to Taitung for a morning hot‑air balloon experience with kids and stayed only briefly, so we chose a simple, clean homestay; staying at Caihong No. 6 turned out even more comfortable than I imagined—decor created a pleasant atmosphere, overall cleanliness was great, and the scent inside was relaxing; the host was considerate, knowing we had children, and pre‑started the AC, which made the arrival very comfortable and added value—overall satisfaction was high, and I would stay here again if I return to Taitung.
